
About the ' More Cowbell ' covers band in London
The More Cowbell Band is a covers band in London which was formed by several musicians and vocalists who have each achieved success in their own right and who enjoy playing covers music, i.e. music that is well known because it has been in the music charts and was voted as highly popular.
In order to please everyone, we play the most modern music to date as well as music that was popular in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's . . .
The latest addition to the More Cowbell Covers Band (in 2011) is bassist PJ Phillips who has appeared with Christian Death, Vanessa-Mae, Tom Jones, Take That, The Bay City Rollers and Dolly Parton, and who has also played to three royal families and at the World Music Awards (1997), the Royal Variety Performance (2006), Highgrove, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, the Sultan's Palace in Brunei, the G7 Conference (150,000), the Hong Kong Hand-Over, the Happy Valley Stadium (250,000+), the Baalbeck ‘Valley of the Gods’ Ampitheatre in Lebanon, the Acropolis in Athens, the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, as well as at the Royal Albert Hall and numerous other venues.
